Free Easter Origami Booklet

I recently saw that a friend on Facebook was asking for some homemade Easter gift ideas. With everything going on in the world right now, she wasn’t able to get to the store for Easter basket fillers for her kids. I had the idea that it would be fun to create an Easter origami “kit” and decided to whip up a free Easter origami booklet that you can print off as a non-candy Easter basket filler!

A completely free printable…an Easter gift from me to you!

First, all you have to do is print off the file right here. It’s an instant download – no email required!

Then, cut out each square, as these will be individual pages of the booklet. At this point, you could stack the pages, put a staple in the corner, and call it a day.

OR….

If you have the supplies handy, you can laminate, hole punch, and add a binder ring or ribbon to make it a little more sturdy. (If you don’t have a laminator, they are really inexpensive on Amazon.)

Then all you have to do is cut out some pretty scrapbook paper into squares (a paper slicer like mine makes quick work of this) and add it to the Easter basket with the Easter origami booklet.

Instant origami kit!

If you don’t have any scrapbook paper handy, computer paper will work just as well! In fact, your kiddo might enjoy decorating their paper before folding it.

A WORD ON THE ACTUAL ORIGAMI INSTRUCTIONS: I purchased these images from a stock site which allows me to reuse the images in this way. They are definitely not the type of detailed instructions you would find in an origami tutorial book, but my kiddo was able to fold several of these with no problem. For the more difficult origami folds in this booklet, you might need to refer to a YouTube video for additional instructions.

I hope that this free Easter origami booklet is something that you can use if you’re looking for a homemade Easter basket filler.
