Wise Words – Live All You Can

Live all you can; it's a mistake not to. It doesn't so much matter what you do in particular, as long as you have your life. Henry James

Today is the kiddos’ last day of school.  Summer is finally here!

This past weekend we decided to come up with a summer bucket list (more on that soon).  I steered the kids toward more simple activities that could fit within my growing chemo crumminess. (More on that soon, as well.)  To be honest, I felt a little sad about that at first.  Then I was reminded of this quote.  It doesn’t matter WHAT we do in particular, so long as we have our lives.

By golly, I’ve been working my tail off for the past six months with the goal of having my life, so we’re going to LIVE all we can this summer!  Simple activities. Staying close to home.  Family time.  Perfect (for us!) summer.

What do you have planned for this summer?  I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!

  1. I love summer bucket lists, we do them every year. We have simple ideas like picnics and bike rides to camping and mini golfing. So fun to see what the kids want to do.
