Today is my 12-year wedding anniversary, so that’s what I’ll mainly be celebrating.  But, maybe I’ll find some time to show some appreciation for my thumbs!  🙂

CELEBRATE THUMB APPRECIATION DAY

So….how does one celebrate his or her thumbs?  Don’t worry, I’ve got a few ideas for you:

• Thumbprint art.  There are SO many fun ideas online!  With St. Patrick’s Day coming up, you could make some thumbprint shamrocks. {Don’t forget the stamp pads!}
• Have a thumb-wrestling tournament.
• Read about Tom Thumb or Thumbelina
• Learn to play the kalimba (thumb piano) or watch kalimba videos on YouTube
• Play Get a Grip – The No Thumbs Challenge Game
• Play Heads Up, Seven Up

A waiter brings his customer the steak he ordered and his thumb is resting on the meat.
“Are you crazy?!” yelled the customer, “Sticking your thumb in my steak?!”
The waiter replies “What, you want it to fall on the floor again??”
